Established in 2008 and the true pioneers of Glamping in India, Aagman India Travel & Living Pvt. Ltd. have the ethos that is sustainable, promotes slow travel that gives back to the community, and is rooted deeply in Indian culture. Weaving into India’s vast tapestry of rich heritage, its culture, fairs and festivals, cuisine that is fresh, locally sourced, and cooked in the most traditional manner and most importantly seasonal, each Aagman property offers the kind of Experiential travel you can only dream of.

The concept of Aagman introducing luxury glamping came about when the founder Sanjay Chhokar first-hand faced issues of clients and tourists visiting remote rural areas to participate in traditional fairs and festivals or visit interesting monuments in far-flung areas that are historically important but are off the tourist map due to no hotels or facilities being available in the area.

The Aagman story began in 2008 with 12 glamping luxury tents that were set up during the Pushkar camel fair that were overwhelmingly appreciated by visitors, foreign tour operators as well as domestic travel partners. The same year a permanent luxury glamping the campsite was set up in the beautiful and historic village of Abhaneri in Dausa, Rajasthan is near the iconic Abhaneri stepwell.

Aagman has come a long way since then and now provides glamping for large events, weddings, concerts, for both the private, corporate, and government bodies.
